Our camp

Our Camp

Spend the night in the heart of Wadi Rum Protected Area, surrounded by mountains and the charming nature as if you are outside the earth. Exceptional experience you must have when visiting Wadi Rum.
Our camp was built inside Wadi Rum Protected Area, on a distinguished geographical location overlooking the main valley that witnessed shooting many famous movies, including Umm Ashereen Mountain, Al-Qatar Mountain and Al-Khazali Mountain. During the night, be prepared to see millions of charming stars. Here I am putting in your hands extraction of what this desert taught me, and there are still many secrets that we will discover together, Inshallah.

Our tents

We care about your comfort, so we prepared comfortable tents to provide you with a true desert experience with modernity. The camp contains 10 tents distributed over two or three comfortable beds (pillows, blankets, and mattress). The tent has lighting and charging slots for phones and cameras.

The main tent

In this tent we meet you to drink tea and sitting around the wood fire. Here, we share our culture with you and stories, we dance on Bedouin music rhythms and offer various activities.
Our spacious tent, decorated with traditional decorations, has benches and saddles that you can lean on, as well as large windows on all sides to allow you to enjoy a panoramic view of the valley. It also has a buffet in which we serve traditional breakfast and dinner.
Next to the communal tent there is an outside seating, here we sit after dinner for a long summer night to watch the stars and live the traditional desert experience.

The food

We serve all our meals buffet-style. So, there should be something to your liking at all mealtimes. Also, we pay attention to your dietary requirements as much as possible within the limitation of the desert.

  • Breakfast

We have bread and a selection of toppings like oil & za’atar, labneh, hummus, tomato, cucumber, olives, cheese, jam, and eggs. And for drinks, Bedouin tea, coffee, and bottled water are available.

  • DINNER

Delicious traditional Bedouin-style meals. We often serve zarb, which is a traditional Bedouin method of slowcooking meat and vegetables under the ground for 2+ hours. Served alongside rice, salad and flatbread.

Bathroom

Our bathroom is modern with two showers with dressing areas, two western toilets, and two washbasins. And we have a solar hot water system to provide warm water in the showers.
Water is limited in the desert so we rely on water trucks to bring water to the camp. Water is a very precious resource, please use water mindfully.

Electricity

In our camp, we use solar power to illuminate the central buildings and sleeping tents. We generate the electricity with the solar panels on the rocks behind the campsite. Shortly after the sunset, we switch on the power. And once everybody sleeps, we switch it off.
