To experience Wadi Rum the bedouin way, try one of our camel tours. Camels have been a central part of the bedouin way of life for centuries .

One hour camel ride :

AT THE START OF YOUR TOUR:

You will meet the camels at the end of Wadi Rum village and head out through the desert like a bedouin. In approximately one hour you will arrive to Lawrence’s Spring, a must-see spot where the animals will be refreshed. There, your bedouin guide for the day will meet you to continue the rest of your jeep or hike tour.

AT THE END OF YOUR TOUR:

After breakfast, you will go by jeep to the meeting point where you begin a one hour camel ride back to the village. Upon reaching the entry to the village our 4×4 will bring you back to the Wadi Rum village

2 hour camel ride :

AT THE START OR END OF YOUR TRIP:

This camel ride is direct to /from our bedouin camp. You will enjoy the magnificent desert landscape with no stops. If you reach Wadi Rum in the afternoon and want to experience a 2 hour camel ride upon arrival, this is a good choice. The camels are gentle and prized possessions of their owners, so they are well-fed, and well-treated

Sunrice camel tour :

Take in the cool morning and watch the rising sun light up the desert on a peaceful camel ride through stunning Wadi Rum. This is an opportunity to feel like a nomad for a few moments and witness the rustic, rural desert life. After a warm welcome, take your seat in the camel saddle ready to take in the sweeping desert views. Set off through the orange-hue valley as the sun starts to rise. Photo opportunities are endless, but our stop at the sunrise viewing spot is our favourite. While you watch the sunrise, enjoy traditional Bedouin tea and a snack before riding back to Wadi Rum Village .

Duration : 2 hours

Start time : 4am (depending the season ).

Exceptional ☺ Ahmed met us at our arranged time and location and immediately took us out on our jeep tour. We had a fantastic time enjoying the sites, and we were encouraged to take our time at our various stops in order to enjoy our experience. We did have more chances to climb around the sand dunes / rocks / hills and explore a canyon than we had expected, which was wonderful. The end of our jeep tour was a sunset viewpoint, which was stunning. Dinner included a traditional dish that was cooked in a container that was dug into the sand. We were taken outside to watch Hani dig it out as the cooking process was explained. The chicken was the best we've ever had. (Breakfast and dinner did have options that were vegetarian only as well). We are not big campers and our camping experience was fantastic and we would highly recommend Star Walk.

Very Good ☺ We were the only guests in the camp. The owner was very friendly and helpful gave us a great tour of wadi rum. The chef cooked incredible dinner. They gave us extra blankets for the night. And there was warm water in the showers which was great at night as it gets cold. The lounge area is also very nice. ☹ The towels they gave us smelled very bad.

Wonderful ☺ It’s great, food is great as is the atmosphere and staff ☹ We went in winter and it is crazy cold in the tents as they have no heating. Slept in full clothes plus hat and gloves under the provided blankets - in a way added to the experience but if you weren’t prepared you were in for a nasty shock. Trips are quite pricey

Perfect stay in the desert, highly recommended ☺ We loved everything about the camp. The location is incredible, the staff was amazing. The tents are basic, of course, but good and the beds have hotel quality, super comfortable (that was a nice surprise!). The bathroom is shared but always clean and everything works properly. The meals are homecooked and very good quality of ingredients. Water always available. We stayed only the one night, but we are definitely planning a longer stay with friends next year!

Beautiful experience in the desert! ☺ The most wonderful stay in Wadi Rum! Ahmad and his team are friendly, great hosts and everything is well organized. The tours were the highlight of the trip, especially those at sunrise or sunset. We rode and hiked in the best places in the desert while learning a lot about the local culture & lifestyle. Also enjoyed bedouin tea everywhere. The food especially the dinner is great and super fresh. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

I will definitely comeback to the camp and enjoy this amazing atmosphere. ☺ The camp was very well located, we were able to witness the sunrise and sunset from a privileged location. All the meals prepared were super delicious and local.
